Problems with Stage Manager

When trying to do some work I tried using stage manager but I noticed I was not able to move around my tabs to where I wanted them to be I tried restarting my IPad and I'm wondering if this is part of the new IPad Os 17 update since the only thing I’ve changed was the update.

Stage Manager window issue looking for help with my windows and selection add another window,.. minimize,.. close,.. using those three dots (. . .) - sometimes they aren’t visible. I thought it might be certain applications giving my iPad problems, but it’s random, from Control Center to Google Maps; even Candy Crush. Sometimes the get around is swiping up the Dock and opening an App, sometimes I have to close and reopen because the open window blocks any actions. Anyone have similar issues or a permanent fix? I’m on iPad Air 5th gen; IOS 16.3.1.

moving the tabs in safari similar to how they were able to be moved pre IOS 26 update I recently updated my iPhone 15 pro max with the IOS26 update. I used to be able to move my tabs in safari to any spot simply by holding it and then moving it up wherever. With the IOS26, I am unable to do that. I hold the button on the tab and I get a box that gives you the following choices: Copy link; pin tab; duplicate tab; select tabs; move tab; close tab; close other tab. When I choose the Move tab, I get new tab group and all the saved tabs but not the ability to physically move the chosen the tab to another spot. Is it possible to move the tabs the way we were able to pre IOS26 ?

We aren't quite sure what you want to accomplish with Stage Manager and moving tabs around. See if this guide helps you with organizing windows: Move, resize, and organize windows with Stage Manager on iPad
