Is there anyway to set Dolby TrueHD 7.1 (pass-through)?

Dolby TrueHD is not supported on the Apple TV box with the default apps. There is no passthrough option.
Select third party media player apps for Apple TV (VLC, Plex, Infuse, etc.) can decode this to PCM Multichannel, which would be lossless (limited up to 48 kHz).
