battery life with watchOS 10 and IOS 17 is so bad

Any news on a fix for the battery life of my watch when using watchOS 10. It is so bad. I was able to charge the watch when having a shower everyday and that was enough to more than keep the watch going. now i have to take the watch off daily and put it on charge long before i have my shower. not happy.

Also the new IOS 17 is killing my phone as well. i am getting to lunchtime and my phone is on 60% even though the phone has not come out of my pocket.

Generally just after a operating system upgrade the OS is doing housekeeping that affects the battery.

This generally settles down after a few days.

If not, then try power cycling the Apple Watch and the iPhone.

If that has no effect, try unpairing the Apple Watch from the iPhone, then pair them together again.

Finally there have been reports of some complications consuming excessive battery. You could try disabling different complications to see if that solves the problem.

Do not buy the 15pro max got mine yesterday and already regret it. Nothing is different nothing . I hate to say it I feel it runs slower which blows my mind but the biggest thing is the battery life is horrible I regret it big time!!! Woke up around 5:45ish it is now 8:25 and I’m at 75 percent battery life it’s actually scarring me to use my phone in the field now my 14 pro max was a champ on battery life. I always check battery health and my cycle count on battery when I get a new phone to make sure they are brand new and not a return after a couple days . My cycle count was zero so I know it’s new battery and battery health is 100% I just honestly feel it’s a cheaper made version of the 14 pro max
