Why does some areas of my screen on Iphone XS not responding correctly and is often registering long presses after the IOS 17 update?

I just update my Iphone XS couple of days back and today morning I noticed that touch on the left part of the screen is not working properly. There are specific areas where it isn't working properly like the alphabet S and Z and Emoji button below are not working properly and takes multiple taps. When I try to tap that button it's registers a click for adjacent button. And in the control centre the wifi and airplane is not responsive and sometimes registers long press.

Hi akashgusain,

Does the issue persist after restarting your device? This can help with minor software issues. If this is happening while charging the device you'll want to disconnect any cables from the iPhone to see if the issue persists with it disconnected. If it continues you also may want to try removing any case or screen protector that is interfering with that section of your screen. Tried all the things…. Now the only option remains is hardware customer support
