My iphone 17 doesn't allow the left side to be used. I was trying to use the 1. I even spaced over but no such luck.. i restarted it and that worked. Every time theres an update something happens.

I’ve noticed on my brand new iPhone 17 Pro Max the quality of the screen is poor. Towards the top on the edges it doesn’t fully sit flush and leaves a fingernail size gap easily seen from an angle on both sides, the right side is even more obvious. For $1200, this shouldn’t be the case. The touch screen is also very inaccurate and lags tremendously when typing. The phone also gets hot under just minor use with one or two apps open. I’m returning this iPhone and will hold off on buying a new iPhone until apple changes the screen style and other features to a design that is more practical.

I’m having similar issues. Lots ofvtapoi g if screen to get apps to do what they normally do. Facebook is particularly bad and my banking app I’ve got to close it down a few times before I can scroll or go into accounts. This has only happened the past few days. iPhone up to date with latest software
