Customized ringtone using Garageband does not show up in the text tone list.

I tried to set a tone as my text tone using Garageband on my iPhone. However, after I finished all the steps, the tone only showed up in the ringtone list, but not in the text tone list. I pressed "set as text tone", but it didn't work. The tone was only a few seconds.

Ringtone/Text tone issue. I recently upgraded my iPhone to the 15 pro from iPhone 10. I set my custom ring tones on my new phone and they only show up on my ringtone section. Now, my biggest issue is since they aren't showing up in my text tone option. I decided to test a theory and bought a ring tone. When I PURCHASED the new ringtone it asked me if I wanted to set it to a text tone and I said yes.. Now here's the problem, it did not set as a text tone. It is ONLY showing up as a ringtone. It is very displeasing to go through this. Please tell me this is a bug and I didn't just waste money on something I can't use as a text tone.

Cannot choose ringtone I created as default I created a ringtone in garage band ("PTN"), made sure it's less than 30 seconds long, and added it to all the correct places. However, it shows above a bar on the list, and will not let me select it as a default ring tone. It will, however, allow me to select it as a default for other actions, such as the text message notification. Any suggestions?

Can’t use ringtone for text tone with IOS 17 I used to be able to use all ringtones to assign a text tone. Now with latest IOS 17, I try to change text tone, I can’t see all of my ringtones and can only see a few that were considered alert tones on along with basic apple tones. How can I get back to see all ringtones to assign a text tone?
