I recently purchased a iPhone 14.When I am in a call, the keypad appears not to be sending the correct response to menu selection. All entries come back with the response” you have made an invalid selection.” I have rebooted my phone several time with no joy. My iPhone 14 has iOS 17.0.2

Are you having this issue with one specific company you contact or with all companies you try to contact? We want to make sure it's not an issue with the menu selection rather than your iPhone.
If you are able to dial the correct numbers on your iPhone without any issues, then the issue shouldn't be coming from your iPhone screen. If the numbers you dial on the iPhone shows up incorrectly, then we recommend that you reach out to Apple Support team next: Apple Support
