In settings, analysis and improvements, I do not share information with Apple, but all files created by the iPhone, ips, remain in the phone and are not copied during synchronization. The Synchronization is very slow. Do you have the same issue?

Hi gbat1980,

We'll need a bit more information to provide the most accurate information. In the meantime, if you're having an issue with syncing your iPhone with a computer, this resource may be helpful: Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer

For more help, reply with the answers to these questions:

  • What type of data are you syncing?
  • What source are you syncing the data with?
  • When you say syncing is slow, how long does it take, and what do you notice during the process? Any error messages, alerts, or connection issues?

Regards.

Hi, I use the full backup not encrypted using Finder and my Mac 24” as I always do. My iPhone 15 Pro Max has iOs 17.0.2 and my Mac has MacOs 14.0. The Finder syncing is very slow, it remains for about 5-7 minutes in the pass 3 (preparyng synchronization) even if there are not changes of data or photos on my phone, and I heard that this issue is not only mine, but the problem is that the *.ips files that until iOs 16.6.1 were copied into my Mac (library-logs-crashreporters-mobiledevice) and deleted from the phone, now remain into the phone. I temporally fix this issue using a third part application that deletes the logs files, but the problem is between iOs and MacOs. PadOs 17.0.1 has not this issue. I also tried to put my new iPhone in dfu mode but also still remains as it did.
