After updating to the 17.0.2, the option in settings to turn off group messaging has dissapeared. Is this part of the new update or something happened on my phone?

Unhide group message I have a group message with 4 of us. All are iPhones except 1 on Android. I often silence (“hide”) the group during the day, and unhide it at night. However, it no longer stays unhidden. No matter how many times I turn off “hide” it reverts back to hidden. I’ve downloaded the recent OS and restarted my phone, but it’s still hidden. Help me fix this! (I don’t want to delete the messages of this group so please have a different solution!) thanks!

How can I turn off a group text? How can I remove myself from a group text message? Myself and one other are the only one with an IPhone. Is it possible to not receive anymore text from this group?

Ios 14.7 group text issues No option to leave group text or to add someone to a group text. Never had thia issue before updating. help appreciated and thanks in advance
