You have to put Beats in its case and connect it to charge next to your iPhone, where you need to be connected to wifi. Then initiate a connection to Beats by opening its case and closing it and let it sit there for 15-30 mins. It will update on its own. In my case, it updated before 17.1.1.

Exact same issue here. Thought it was the beats fit pro, so I returned them for another pair. The new pair do the same thing! I had a coworker try his beats fit pro this morning and they did the same thing to him. This all started with the IOS 17 Update. I have reset, reset network, etc. and apple kept telling me it was an issue with the beats and to take them in for possible repair under the warranty.

Mine are doing the same thing with the siri calls. Also, when using them for phone calls it will randomly switch the BFP mic back to the phone mic and no one can hear me even though I can hear them through the buds. I never had the issue until the ios 17 update. BFP are currently running on the latest firmware (5B66). I've checked that as well. I hope they get this fixed pretty quick. I know apple is normally great at listening to the comments on here and reading the posts... this is quite annoying at times. I have yet to find a fix and know a couple other people this is happening to. I'm glad someone finally posted about it. It's not a beats issue as apple has told some... its a software issue clashing between ios 17 and the beats firmware version... updates are needed one way or the other.

I’m experiencing the same exact thing.

I am so glad I found this post. I was going crazy. I had reset my beats several times and actually thought something was wrong with them.

I definitely remember almost immediately having issues after I updated to iOS 17.

I actually thought it had something to do with the new iPhone 15 Pro, I just got.

Glad to know it’s not just me! I really hope they are quick to find a fix.

Same exact issue. I love my Beats Fit Pro and use them every day. I now have to remember to grab my phone from my pocket and redirect to the earbuds when asking Siri to make a call. So frustrating. I hoped that with the updates for iOS 17.1 they'll fix this issue. I truly hope they are reading our comments and will fix this issue soon. Thanks for bringing this up.
