Im getting ready to drop ATT and start using Mint mobile. ATT has approved my unlock request but is instructing me to backup my phone then erase it. It seems to me that would be okay if I were switching to a new phone, but I’m keeping my IPhone 13 and my number…do I need to erase my phone and restore it just to switch carriers? If
