Steering wheel controls not working with CarPlay and iPhone 15

I am able to connect to CarPlay and control the volume using my steering wheel controls but I can’t forward or reverse tracks. Nothing happens. I did not have this issue with iPhone 12.

Thanks for the link. That didn't help. I don't know if its because of USB-C and having to use an adapter to plug my phone into my truck to get it to connect or what but the track controls don't work since I upgraded to the new phone.
