iPhone 15 Pro Overheating issue

Guys/Gals: I’ve recently purchased the new iPhone 15 pro, and it is getting too hot when charging and sometimes while using it.

Apple should fix this issue ASAP, or else they will get a lot of returns.

There is no room for these silly technical issues in this day and age.

I have the exact same issue. I have tried all different types of chargers. USB-a to C. USB-c to c, mag safe. They all make the phone incredibly hot to the touch.

I also am having issues with a black fade of a screen sometimes. Not sure if this is heat or battery related

You should be contacting Apple with this issue. They do not read here for feedback or suggestions. Given the nature of your issue, I would reach out to support using the link at the bottom left of every page of these forums.

My iPhone 15 Pro, which I got on launch day is working perfectly.

i think i'm having a similar issue as @nicolle42. when your phone fades to black - like when it is auto-dimming when the light level changes in your surroundings - does it become choppy as it fades?

phone also very hot when charging. not exactly sure if it should be concerning, as they're apparently using the titanium frame as some sort of heat sink. but it's alot warmer than my iphone 14 pro ever was.

When I collected my iphone 15 pro and started it was getting a bit too warm during the setup and d/l of the apps, once done I restarted the phone and now it's ok, cold even when charging a with magsafe power bank. Remember to upgrade to 17.0.2, restart the phone, delete the safari cache, update all the apps you have....it could be an old app not supported anymore... if it's still getting hot, no problem, book an appointment at the apple store and have it changed...
