Open port in IPhone 62078

Received this information through an app called Fing.

I was to believe that an open port would allow hacking and vulnerability to your phone. I completely wiped out the phone to its original settings and the port was not open anymore. Installed one app and set up Face ID.

port was opened again.

reset phone again and downloaded the app and no port is opened.

I believe that Face ID is opening up the port.

62078 - iPhone-sync (apparently used by iPhone whilst syncing)

Is anyone else having issues like this and

Please see if I am correct?

Whoever led you to believe that was totally, completely WRONG. Open ports are essential if you want the phone to work at all.

Of course it was, iOS and apps cannot communicate with the servers that provide them data except through designated ports.

Here is a list of ports that are REQUIRED to be open if you want your phone to work→TCP and UDP ports used by Apple software products - Apple Support

In addition, port 62078 is the port that the phone’s lockdown “daemon” listens on for USB connections, and it allows syncing over Wi-Fi when you enable this feature.

If that is so try to remove/reset your photo ID and see if that port 62078 goes away (closes).. I believe port 62078 is for syncing data from a browser, from one device to another. It would appear you might have a port 62078 exploit. Although this has been brought to Apple's attention early. I do not believe it has not ever been resolved and a known vulnerability of Apple devices. Resetting your devices as I have closed that port, over time after your reset parties(s) unknown obviously reopened it. It does not happen in its own.
