I am unable to view my balance and pay my statement in my wallet app. Why? How do I pay my balance?

I press and held the card located in the wallet…nothing. I tap the card located in the wallet…nothing. I then try to select the information button in the top right and again there is nothing! I can’t pay through the apple wallet.

Used my card to add money to my apple wallet account card, the balance isn’t showing When I went to add money onto my apple wallet for my apple account. It denied it and told me to verify my card. I tried doing it a couple times but then all of a sudden it accepted my pay and took out $50 three times and a $25. But when I went to check the apple account there was no balance there. I’m probably describing my problems wrong, but please help me with this.
