Searching up date in Photo app no longer shows the date I am searching.

Everyday, I like to look up the date in my camera roll and see what happened on this day in different years. After recently updating to IOS 17, whenever I look up the day in the Photo app it shows random pictures. I’ll search up, example, November 25 and pictures from random days, even not in November show up. Not sure what to do, I tried Apple live support chat and got no resolutions.

How to view pics/vids when you search by year? iOS 18.3 Is there a reason why I can’t view my items when I select years or months in my photo library? When I select either, it will show items from those years/ months but as soon as I click on a photo it brings me right back to “ALL” ? Am I missing something? It seems like ever since iOS 17 was introduced, a LOT of things have gone downhill and no longer function as well as they would prior. Please don’t reply saying to send feedback to Apple because nothing gets addressed or resolved.

No date showing in gallery when scrolling through photos Why do Apple insist on removing things from software? I get adding stuff but they keep removing things that are useful and will take up next to no power. I used to be able to scroll through my photo gallery and at the top of the screen it would show the date range of the photos I was looking at. Great when I am searching for a photo from a few days ago, rather than having to search by month etc. MORE BUTTON PRESSES!!! Does anyone know if there is a setting that can be changed?
