Will my 40mm apple bands from series 4 fit the new series 9 41mm?

I have read the article and note the new 41mm band can fit the 40mm. Am I assuming the same for the 40mm then fitting the 41mm? I just can picture how the clip fits being slightly larger and I have a collection of old bands that I love and want to be able to use with the updated series 9?
