Can someone still see me if I initiated a FaceTime call and my "preview my caller id" is turned off?

Greetings everyone! Today I was in a call with someone when my finger accidentally pressed on the FaceTime button during our call. However, I have the setting, "Preview My Caller ID," turned off on my phone. This very same person that I accidentally FaceTimed has told me once before in the past that their phone shows the "No Caller ID" whenever I do normally make calls to them. My question is: Was the receiver able to still see me on camera? I hung up my FaceTime call as soon as the person informed me about it. They never accepted my FaceTime call either, and my call log says that the FaceTime call was canceled. I fear the worst. Please-Someone end my suffering and confirm with me on whether or not my subconscious humiliation thus far is valid.

Sincerely,

An anxiously shy individual

Hello information96,

If the FaceTime call was not connected, they did not see you. We hope this helps to ease your mind!
