Problems with Docker when connected to a display

Hi,

Recently I noticed that my docker isn't working like it used to, that is, before I could use it on any screen, whether on my MacBook or on my connected display. Now I can only use it on one of them, and it's not always the same. It seems like I decide alone where I want to stay each time. Also I cannot see the bar on the top of the other screen.

I've already researched about this, I've seen a lot of questions here too and I've tried solutions but none seem to work.

What I've tried:

  • Apple menu > System Preferences > Mission Control section. Uncheck " Displays have separate Spaces".
  • Move your mouse to the very bottom of the display where you want your dock to appear, the dock will view on that display.
  • Apple menu > System Preferences > Dock & Menu Bar. Set " Position on screen" to either Left or Right
  • Change Dock & Menu Bar preferences on Mac
  • Use the Dock on Mac

Hi m0urao,

We'd like to see if we can help resolve the issue you're having. Below we've shared some information that may resolve the issue for you.

"Extend or mirror your Mac desktop across multiple displays

When you connect one or more external displays to your Mac, you can choose what appears on each display.

  • You can use video mirroring to show your entire desktop on each display.
  • You can extend your desktop across two or more displays, and choose which display shows the Finder and application menu.

If more than two displays are connected, you can specify that some use video mirroring and others use an extended desktop.

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Displays  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
  2. Click the name of your display on the right, click the “Use as” pop-up menu, then choose an option.
  3. Note: If you are using a Mac laptop or iMac, you must have an external display connected to your Mac to see these options. If you are using a device with no built-in display, such as a Mac mini or Mac Studio, you must have more than one display connected to see these options.
  4. To set up some displays for mirroring and others for an extended desktop, start by setting up all displays as an extended desktop. Then, press and hold the Option key, and drag one display icon onto another display icon to mirror those two displays."

Reference: Connect one or more external displays with your Mac

Cheers!
