Battery life on SE watch less than 10% after 8 hours. Why?
I did the update to 10.0, and now after 12 hours of usage, the battery is almost dead.

Wait a day or 2, then power cycle the Apple Watch and your iPhone. Things should get back to normal as the new operating system finishes up some housekeeping.
If that does not work, unpair the Apple Watch and pair it to the iPhone again.
