Why does my AirTag battery keep saying it needs to be replaced?
I’ve replaced it twice in the last few months. My other AirTags from the same box are still working fine with the first battery.

It may be possible that this particular AirTag is defective, and not specifically a battery issue.
Otherwise, have you verified that the replacement battery does not employ a bitterant coating. These are known to be problematic with the AirTags.
