AppleTV+ TV app with Firestick

I have AppleTV+ subscription that gives me a “How to Watch” button with only some movies or series. (Most movies/series play as they should.) Clicking the “How to Watch” button tells me I can “buy, rent, or subscribe.” What to do?

HOW TO WATCH question on APPLE TV i have the Apple TV app on my smart tv. I have some shows and movies in UP NEXT that I cannot watch because when I click HOW TO WATCH it says to buy, rent or subscribe. I already subscribe to Apple TV, it does show where to buy or rent the show/movie. I don’t understand how this works.

Can’t watch movies with Apple TV+ subscription I purchased an Apple TV+ subscription and neither of my smart tv’s will allow me to watch any movies, none of them have the option of watching, only option is “how to watch” and “purchase” most of the movies on there are free on Tubi, I don’t understand why I can’t watch any movie, I followed all the trouble shooting advice, have the latest updated version of the app, shame on you apple! I shouldn’t have to pay for the subscription just to pay for movies that are free elsewhere. I cancelled my subscription and won’t be getting it again

Your AppleTV+ subscription only gives you free access to AppleTV+ content. There is other content available on Apple TV that is not part of Apple TV+ and is available to rent or buy.
