Deleting emails

I have over 93K emails in my MAIL app (which I think comes automatically with an iphone). I never use that app because I only use the GMAIL app (big red M). How can I delete the MAIL account, or it’s emails, without deleting those same emails in my GMAIL app?

Here are the steps to remove an email account from your iPhone:

Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts.
Tap the email account you want to remove from your iPhone, then tap Sign Out or Delete Account.

Here are the steps to delete emails from the Mail app:

Open Mail and go to your Inbox.
Tap Edit in the upper-right corner, then individually select the emails that you want to delete, or tap Select All. To select multiple emails quickly, swipe down through the checkboxes.
Tap Trash or Archive. If you only see Archive, touch and hold Archive to see other options like Trash Selected Messages.
