Apple Card

So i am trying to apply for Apple Credit Card. It States the minimum age to apply is 18 Years Old or Older. today is my birthday and i have applied 3 different times as it has revised me to, but it keeps saying i do not meet the minimum age requirements to enter a contract. it also said to contact Apple Support. which i did, and every time i asked to speak to a person it kept telling me it could not assist and to call the Gold Sachs Apple Card Support, which i did and they said that i cannot apply because i am not 21?? Then why does it state you only have to be 18 or older to apply?

Each of the 50 US states, which plus territories etc. have their own regulations regarding legal age to enter into a contract etc. It sounds like the legal age in your state of residence is 21 years of age.

but i don’t see how that is, i have friends ranged from 18-40 who have credit cards? my 20yr old friend even has a credit card. and my other friend who’s 18, applied for the apple credit card the same day they turned 18 which was like a month ago, and it never said this to them? even on Apple Card itself it says must be 18 to apply, and so do other card companies.

Lol, it now tells me that i have been declined for to many applications and they are not able to verify my information at this time. i thought it was an age issue apple 🥴 but anyways, f apple credit card i guess. Capital One accepted 🙏🏼 CO FTW ig

Yes, applying too many times in a short period of time is an indication that you’re desperate for credit and a high risk. I’m glad got you were able to get approved for a Capital One account and hope it fits your financial needs.

thank you, very much appreciated. my main family (father and mother) doesn’t have credit, father never wanted cards and my mom got screwed by her mother a while back. so i’m just trying to get a jumpstart on things and since i’ve turned 18 i’ve also kinda just woke up one day with that “adult” mentality and i no longer have the urge to pay for bs, buy games, go out shopping etc. if i have to i come up with any excuse not to spend money. more worried about getting myself financially stable now since at any moment, out of the blue, i may have to get my own form of house. thank you for your help🫡. maybe apple card will let me apply later on, if i still want it by then. anyways, cheers ! thanks for your help ‼️
