Delete notification

How do i delete a voicemail notifcation? I refuse to activate my voicemail to do it. I will never listen to them, lol

I do not have voicemail set up intentionally, but with iOS17 people can leave me voicemails even if it's not set up! How do I get rid of these notifications? I just upgraded to iOS17 and someone was able to leave me a voicemail even though it is not set up (by design). I do not want to set up and use voicemail. Now I have a badge notification for an unheard voicemail (even though its not set up!). How do I get rid of this badge or disable the ability to leave voicemails?

you need to activate voice mail or disable phone notifications
