Manually Manage album downloads individually

iPhone 11 and 15, manually manage is selected. When adding an entire album( or parts thereof), some songs show individually. some albums show complete though.for example, if i drag BACK IN BLACK, by AC/DC, the whole album shows, but if i drag FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK..., each song shows separately. normally, this isn't an issue, but songs are in random order. as you can see, albums and songs are numbered, but still show randomly.

iPhone 15 Plus, iOS 17

Ok. I’ve found a work around. If adding via the finder window from the iTunes library, it doesn’t work (shows individually). But, if I drag from music app on my Mac, to the iPhone in the side bar, it shows as one album

Hey hydroxide76,

Does this seem to happen with the same albums or is it random? If it's with the same albums, delete the album and download it again to see if that helps with the syncing issue. If this is a past purchase, these steps will help: Redownload music - Apple Support

Yes. It seems to be the same albums. They are from cd. I’ve removed them from Apple Music (iTunes), and re added them. I’ve deleted from my phone, and re added them. 1 album continues to show as a whole album, while other albums are split into each song being its own album. They show up fine on my computer. It’s just the iPhone.
