Location Name on photo is wrong and it’s infected any other photos with that location

My evil mother-in-law sent me photos taken at my house. She mislabeled the location calling it my wife’s sister’s house. Now all my photos taken at my house adopt the name of my sister in laws house. I can’t figure out how to change it. I’m pretty sure it’s in maps, . . But not fixed yet. Please, please help. Every time it happens it makes me say rude things about my mother-in-law.

Hello Want2learn17,

We understand you want to know how to change the location name in Photos. We're happy to help.

Below are the steps that will help you to change the location name.

"You can change the date, time, and location that’s stored within the photo or video’s metadata information. See See photo and video information.

  1. Open the photo or video, then tap the More Options button.
  2. Tap Adjust Date & Time or Adjust Location.
  3. Enter the new information, then tap Adjust.

To change the date, time, or location of a batch of photos, tap Select, tap the thumbnails you want to change, then follow the steps above.

You can revert a photo or video to its original date, time, or location. Tap the More Options button, tap Adjust Date & Time or Adjust Location, then tap Revert."
