Hello,
I am wondering whether it's worth it buy a brand new Macbook Air (my first Mac) with the Educational Discount (I am a teacher, but I don't know how much of a discount that is) or to buy a refurbished one. Either way, I think I'll purchase the AppleCare.
Any opinions? / Insghts?

Personally I would purchase whichever has the best pricing for a product that met my needs.
You can't go wrong either way. Apple considers their Certified Refurbished products indistinguishable from new ones. Buy whichever one meets your needs.
