The iPhone X is not compatible with iOS 17. iOS 17 requires a Xs, Xr, or newer.

Apple doesn't send you the update, if your phone qualifies, you can install the update yourself.
• If you have an iPhone 5S or 6/6plus, the highest you can update to is 12.5.7
• If you have an iPhone 6S through 7, or SE 1st generation, you can update to 15.8.2
• If you have an iPhone 8 or X, you can update to 16.7.7
• If you have an iPhone SE (2nd generation or later), or XR through 15, you can update to 17.4.1
Go to Settings > General > Software Update.

because there are many apps which are directly stating to update it to newer version or it will stop working, they are also not working to fix the compatibility with version less than 17. Not everyone is capable to buy the costly phone in every 4-5 years.
The ONLY fix to this is to buy a newer, more modern iPhone. iPhone X is simply NOT capable of running iOS 17. It lacks the hardware required and that can't be fixed or changed. No one ever told you your iPhone would receive updates forever. Eventually, ALL devices become too old to be updated. This is the same with Android or any other device.
Keep in mind, your Apple apps likely all work with your iPhone. It's third party apps which likely don't. And Apple has absolutely nothing to do with that. Apple only hosts third party apps. It's 100% up to the third party app developer, which version of iOS they are willing to support. If you can't download an app you want, you need to contact the app developer and see if they might be willing to support iOS 16, but they likely won't as it costs them money to do so.

I’m gonna send a feedback to Apple and tell them to try to bring iOS 17 to iPhone X
Don’t waste IYour time. The iPhone X does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for ios 17.
So…..if you have an iPhone X, it is as incompatible with iOS17 today as it was when this thread started, and always will be. If you have a different, newer phone then post back with more information.

Knock yourself out, but it's never going to happen. iPhone X is too old and lacks the hardware required. Even if there was some magical way to get it, it would bog your phone down so badly it would be virtually unusable. If you want iOS 17, then it's time to buy a newer model iPhone.

Yes! Any why?
No. The iPhone X, released by Apple over six years ago, is too old to use iOS 17.
And yes, iOS 17 or greater is required for watchOS 10.
And you won't, if you have an iPhone X. The iPhone X is not compatible with iOS 17, as has been mentioned numerous times in this thread.

Done with Apple. As an iPhone X user, I guess I will not be getting another Apple watch since it can no longer be updated. I'm really sorry that I ever bought this watch now, since I'm not about to buy a new iPhone just so I can update the watch. I feel totally ripped off by Apple. When I do upgrade, I can assure you it won't be with another iPhone or Apple watch.
The iPhone X was launched 7 years ago and just does not have the hardware power to support the new OS. Even if you could update, you would be posting here how the new OS has made your phone so slow that it is unusable. The hardware/software cycle will never go away and is not unique to Apple.

Please make the iOS 17 update compatible on iPhone X . Many banking application is not working with older software.
That is NOT going to happen. iPhone X is too old and lacks the hardware required to run iOS 17. If you need an iPhone which can run iOS 17, then you HAVE to retire your iPhone X and buy a newer iPhone at this time.
The iPhone X doesn’t support iOS 17,
its can only go for iOS 16

because it[‘]s iPhone X, just bought it a few months back
That doesn’t change the fact Apple released this iPhone six years ago, and it’s simply too old to handle the latest operating system.
No, it is not possible. The hardware in the iPhone X will not support iOS 17.
An iPhone 10 doesn't have the required hardware to run iOS 17. Threatening to switch to Android won't change this fact.
Is there any fix to this ?
No
If a "fix" existed, it would involve removing hardware from the iPhone X and installing new hardware. That will never happen. Even if it were possible......it's not......the cost would be prohibitive.
