Hi okyere230,
The default method to enable or disable Sticky Keys is listed in Change Keyboard settings for accessibility on Mac:
"
Press a set of modifier keys one at a time in sequence, instead of all at once. For example, enter the key combination Option-Command-F5 by pressing each key in sequence.
To customize, click the Info button :
- Press the Shift key five times to toggle Sticky Keys: Use your keyboard to turn Sticky Keys on or off.
- Beep when a modifier key is set: Have your Mac make a sound when you press a modifier key.
- Display pressed keys on screen: Display symbols to indicate which modifier keys you press.
- Screen area for display: If you turn on “Display pressed keys on screen,” choose the area of the screen where you want to display the symbol for the pressed modifier key." (emphasis added)
If you customized that function, there would be no way to know what modifier you set without accessing macOS and returning to the Accessibility options.
Regards.
