General and ongoing cleaning can help you maintain your AirPods or AirPods Pro.

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

My new Airpods Pro(Gen 2) are connected to someone else's Apple ID in find my.

I bought new Airpods Pro Gen(2) from Flipkart (flipkart.com) in India. Today, I tried to add them to "Find My Network" and It is showing that they are already connected to someone else's Apple ID. I wasn't available at my home at delivery time so no one checked that but box was sealed well and it was an open box delivery (as told by my parents). The item was also not refurbished its brand new and I myself activated its warranty using serial number and on apple warranty coverage page my warranty is shown to be exactly 1 year after purchase date. On first connection to my Mac, it was showing correct name "MyName's Airpods Pro" and it shows same name even with my non apple devices like windows laptop etc.

The flipkart ecommerce platform is known to do shenanigans like that with even other Apple products like iPhone (sale is coming and I've heard that they sell used products) so I am not sure if my case is also a used product one. I cannot return or replace my airpods as its been 3 months since I purchased them (I never thought of adding it to Find my network, foolish me).

Is there a way to remove old Apple ID? Can offline service centers do that? I have invoice and all if that helps. Warranty coverage is attached below.

Thanks
