Album Artwork Wrong on iPhone but correct in iTunes

I just upgraded to a iPhone 15 pro and iOS 17. When I went to sync my new iPhone to my iTunes and install my backup of my old phone a good chunk of the album artwork on songs got mixed up with the wrong artwork being used somehow on my iPhone only. The artwork in iTunes remains correct. I’ve tried signing in and out of my Apple ID on my iPhone. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading the album artwork and then sync my iPhone again. Nothing has worked.

Hello Flyers182AVA,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities and for sharing these details with us. You've done a great job in troubleshooting this unexpected behavior. We'd like to recommend one more step to see if we can get this issue sorted out. Try the steps below:

1.) Delete the Music app off your iPhone. This step will remove songs you've downloaded or added for offline use: Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

2.) Reinstall the Music app: Redownload apps and games from Apple - Apple Support

These steps might be able to help refresh things. If your issue continues, please reach out to Apple Support. They might have to investigate this issue further with you. Use this link to reach them: Get Support

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Take care.
