Silver Spot on the BackPanel

The device is under warranty and there is a silver spot looks like from the INSIDE of the device (no scratches or any dent from outside) ..... when I visited the apple service center ..they refused to replace the device or the back panel ..... and then i called then i called the customer service they said the same as it is a cosmetic issue it's not covered under warranty!!!!? ... any help regarding this?
