Wallpaper error says "Settings error Extension process Wallpaper" on MacOS Sonoma 14

Hi I get error The error happens like this I donwloaded Macos Sonoma 14 and then I wanted to change my wallpaper it opened and I click one wallpaper and it took 3 minutes to open and I try another 3 wallpaper when it's load I get this error it says "Settings error Extension process Wallpaper(1285) exited" this is the image of error

please help pe as soon as possible

Great tip to change it under " screensaver" . After changing the desktop by clicking 'show as wallpaper' , you can go back to wallpaper and change it there. Works from then on (for me).

I have the same issue when trying to change my wallpaper under its tab heading, however I found that you can change them under screensaver tab. Is there anyone here that can explain a solution ?

Well, it also happened to me multiple times. I cannot understand how Apple is not solving such a simple, recurring and annoying issue that has been affecting all IOSs since a long while ago... The current way around the "Screensaver" trick is a patch (not always working) not a solution.

I have the same problem. Is there a solution in the mean time? Or update? Total reset? Does your cam also not work on Photo Booth at the same time?????
