When using my Apple TV 4K 2nd gen for making FaceTime calls, they can’t hear me. It was working fine until like a week ago. Of course, if I use FaceTime on my phone it works fine. It is like if I was muted, but that’s not the case.
I had this problem and tried several things that didn't work. The iPhone 14 camera worked for the TV FaceTime call, but not the microphone. An error message would pop up briefly on the TV saying there was no microphone.
I then realized that I had upgraded my Apple TV to a 4K model, and hadn't paired my iPhone with the new device. Holding it close to the Apple TV, and keying in the code fixed my issue with the Continuity Camera microphone.
