I received both an email and an invitation into my inbox of my calendar “Alert Trojan Detected” the calendar selected doesn’t have a delete option like all my other calendars. There is no option through accounts. How do I delete this?

Fantastic @Jonotinx followed your advise as above and all disappeared!! I had the exact issue and assumed the link would be a virus, however started 27th Dec 23 right through to 31st Jan 24, have been trying to delete different entries in my iPhone Calender for days. Can’t recall an email though. Thanks for the tip 😊
My experience is that the event is NOT in some unknown calendar, but the one I consistently use. Uninstalling that and reinstalling does not remove the unwanted event. The unwanted event does not show in my outlook calendar in my computer.

since I use the outlook calendar on my computer I’m reluctant to delete other entries on the calendar. Will this solution cause those events to disappear?
Yes, I noticed that, too. So! If I delete the calendar from my iPhone then add it back, and sync, will the unwanted event be gone?

I live by my calendar and I have been a victim of a GetLoansQuick and 35kNow! calendar invites spreading over months. This was the only thing that worked for me. Thank you!!
This just fixed my issue. Looks like it’s spam invitations coming in through Hotmail and that’s why it won’t delete on the iOS calendar.
