Second day with the phone and had to charge it twice today and it’s back down to 19% after normal use…No apps running on background or extended use, battery health at 100% 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

When you first activate it or do an iOS update, the iPhone always tend to drain the battery faster and this is due to the background process iOS does to optimize, including, but not limited to, syncing with iCloud, re-indexing your file system, photos, etc. (for faster search). This is normal and usually ends quickly, depending on the amount of data you have - the more data, the longer it takes.
Have you had any response from them?

I just got off of the phone with Verizon —I begged them to let me trade down. They finally let me. Maybe Apple should know things like this.
It is. And it makes me mad to see people trying to “fix” it. Do all sorts of voodoo. “I turned off this and disabled this and…” We shouldn’t have to do this.

me too I posted something similar to this a few days ago and an administrator took it down, told me it was not relevant, it was not a technical issue, nor a technical solution. Go figure.
very unfortunate that you'd have to trade down the latest iPhone to a older generation iPhone. It does seem that the older iPhones may function better than the 15, which is very sad.

So we have to always use our phones in low power mode? Does the advisor realize how bad that sounds. Basically, you can’t use the phone the same way as you can any other iPhone, and it’s brand new.
It is ridiculous to pay this much for a phone that doesn’t last until supper!
