Battery draining fast on iPhone 15 Pro
Second day with the phone and had to charge it twice today and it’s back down to 19% after normal use…No apps running on background or extended use, battery health at 100% 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

When you first activate it or do an iOS update, the iPhone always tend to drain the battery faster and this is due to the background process iOS does to optimize, including, but not limited to, syncing with iCloud, re-indexing your file system, photos, etc. (for faster search). This is normal and usually ends quickly, depending on the amount of data you have - the more data, the longer it takes.
I just got my iphone 15 pro max on Friday. Today is Monday and the battery drains like crazy. All I have done today is make a 10 min phone call, and use Instagram for 15 mins and my battery went from 80 to 68. This has never happened with any of my older iphones
With my 15 pro, the battery is up to 87% very good, but then it goes down quickly, I don't use it much either, because I'm at school and last night when I went to sleep I had 93% and after 6 hours when I got up I suddenly had 86%. They should mb bring a better update up for the battery

I bought my first iPhone 15 pro max 2 weeks ago and the battery was dying ridiculously fast. I figure it was just the phone and turned it in to get a new one and same thing. This issue is BS and needs to be fixed. These phones are so expensive for them not to last the whole day. I don’t even use my phone. It has gone down 5% just being in my pocket while I am at work.
NEVER turn off findMy off on iPhone.
Some pickpocket took my wife's iPhone14pro in NYC. He ran faster then us and we couldn’t find phone because findMy was off.
If it was on there were chances to remotely lock or find or marking it stolen
I’m still paying for that 14pro in TMobile
I’ve been having quickly reducing battery for months now. I think there’s for sure something wrong as last night was the first time I left it off charge but you can see it still was dropping fast without any screen idle time or usage! Any one have the same or any advice?
My wife and I both have the new iPhone 15 a couple months ago. My wife’s battery 100% full charge in the morning drains to about 10% within 8-10 hours. My phone on the other hand holds charge most of the day and by 10pm I may only be down to 60%. Is there a setting or something running in the background that’s draining her battery much faster than mine?
I think I’ve surpassed all of you. I have a 14 Pro Max. Using the internal speaker, it dies completely overnight with all background apps turned off except one white noise app. Last night I used Bluetooth ear buds and it lost 6%.
I can so relate. It’s nothing but regret for me. My 14 pro max plus won’t last the night (5 hours) on a full charge unless I use my earbuds. It gets blazing hot whether I use the charger or not. I went in, as well, and heard the same thing. (If you compare the earbud nights (lost 6%) to none (dies in 5 hours with full charge.)
Don't get me started on the camera.
I am right there with you. I have never felt such regret with an iPhone purchase. my XR could last all night on a 100% charge, and maybe 30% or so. My 14 Pro Max will not last the night with a 100% charge. And we’re talking five hours because I don’t sleep that much. Plus, it gets very hot in the meantime. Last night, I used my earbuds, and it only used 6%. If I could find out what the connection is, maybe I could fix it. The thing is, it shouldn’t be like that. Everyone has all of these solutions like turning off IG, closing your Facebook apps, or whatever. I never did that before and we shouldn’t have to do that with a newer phone. I took it in as well. They told me there was nothing wrong with it.
Don’t get me started on the camera. That one really upsets me and it has ruined a lot of events for me.
using my iPhone 15 pro for 2 weeks and can definitely say that the battery capacity is the same as in my previous iPhone 11 pro which shouldn't be the case...it feels a new phone with an old battery. cant even tell that it's a new one. disappointment. need a hot fix asap.
it's actually really frustrating this many people are having the exact same experience and Apple isn't fixing it. what gives? I traded in my iphone 12 so I wouldn't have to be connected to a charger all the time and here I am with a brand new iphone 15 pro, connected to a charger all the time. why isn't Apple working on a solution? :(
As I read these comments (I have a 14 Pro Max. Don’t consider downgrading to this one) and I think to myself as I read all your well-meaning advice: We shouldn’t have to be jumping through hoops like this. We have we been told to… remove social media apps. Turn off 5G. (Isn’t that’s supposed to be a feature for us to enjoy?) Etc etc. We are all here desperately trying to find answers, instead of going to the source. But the source isn’t listening. I’ve always been an Apple fan girl. Since the 4. I’ve never considered switching brands, but I am now and that’s telling. I think I’m equally bummed by the camera performance, but that’s another story. As soon as I’m eligible for a trade, I’m done. And this isn’t me trying to strong arm Apple. I truly mean it. I’ve been late getting up because my fully charged phone died in the middle of the night. I missed documenting any portion of a one chance concert. That’s one that really got to me. Here I am with a handful of 100% regret.
I’m having the same issue!
I only bought a new phone because my previous 11 pro was dying by 1-2pm and now my brand new, 3 day old iphone 15 pro is dying by NOON! My husband has the 14 pro max and his lasts literally 2 days. He wakes up at 5am, blasts youtube videos, plays phone games, uses instagram etc and by bed time it’s about half battery. So why is the 15 draining SO quickly?!?!?! I did turn off the always-on lock screen option, but didn’t seem to help much. I am not home all day to stay glued to a charger, nor is this what I expect for $1200.
