Battery draining fast on iPhone 15 Pro

Second day with the phone and had to charge it twice today and it’s back down to 19% after normal use…No apps running on background or extended use, battery health at 100% 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

When you first activate it or do an iOS update, the iPhone always tend to drain the battery faster and this is due to the background process iOS does to optimize, including, but not limited to, syncing with iCloud, re-indexing your file system, photos, etc. (for faster search). This is normal and usually ends quickly, depending on the amount of data you have - the more data, the longer it takes.

I have the same issue. I got my iPhone 15 Pro Max a month ago and the battery drains like crazy. I miss my 13 Pro Max. The same usage would lead to a very slower battery decrease. I’ve always been a heavy user of Instagram, but the way it drains the battery on this 15 Pro Max is absolutely ridiculous. My battery Maximum Capacity is currently 100% but it behaves worse than my 13 Pro Max did when it had the capacity of 88%. This is sad.

I hope Apple address this issue in the upcoming software updates as many users are complaining about it.

I got my iPhone 15pro on Wednesday, it is now Saturday And my battery has been draining like crazy. Last night I got it off the charger at 100% I slept off for two hours, and woke up when this phone was at 79%. What is this?! I feel like I’m back in 2013 lol. The anxiety, knowing that your phone won’t last you half a day is crazy. This has never happened with my previous iPhones. The reason we upgrade to functioning tech is so that we can optimally use it. I honestly feel like I paid more money to downgrade. Ps. I turned of all background apps and removed the always on display.

I got an iPhone 15 Pro Max a month ago. Initially, drain overnight was only about 3%. Recently, it’s anywhere from 30% to 40% just idling. iOS just shows Find My as the app running overnight, but all my iPhones have shown that since AirTags were introduced.

This isn’t even my primary iPhone, so it’s barely being used. Background App Refresh and AOD are off.

My phone is quite new. Been using it for a few days and the after 5mins of using the battery loses 1-2%. Which is crazy as the reason why I bought this phone is because of the longer battery life than my iPhone 12pro, but now, using them both feels like I have both issues with my phone. OMG! DID I WASTE MY MONEY ON THIS!!?????? APPLE!!! If this does not improve I will surely go back and have this changed!!!!!

Yesterday I got home from work and my iPhone 15 pro was at 20% battery. I ordered this phone on launch day, so I have had it since October. This has never happened before. I charged it last night with my old iPhone 11pro standard block, long cable, and lightning to usb-c adapter, as I have done every night since I received the phone.

Today my phone was at 20% charge with minimal typical use, after 3 hours . I have closed all running apps, and rebooted phone.

The only unusual thing I see in my battery report is that a USB-c accessory is listed as using 26% of my battery, which I have never seen before. I did use my AirPod pros last night, but that was before the full charge overnight. My AirPods are currently charging in their case. Do AirPods fall into a USB-c accessory? I would appreciate any advice.

I'm also experiencing battery issues for my iPhone pro max 15. Ridiculous to be dealing with this on such a high price phone. If they do not fix this issue, I’m 100% done with Apple products. My 13 pro max had a better battery life than this phone I got a week ago. They did the same thing the the flex gate on newer MacBook Pro versions & refused to fix an issue they caused themselves. Apple you are digging your grave, you’re next!
