Battery draining fast on iPhone 15 Pro

Its been almost a week since i am using iphone 15 pro, its an amazing phone no doubt but the battery life sucks, i have been using iPhone pros since long time but this is the wort phone in terms of battery backup.Buy the pro max

well, if this is ""normal "" then they falsely advertise the battery life of the iPhone 15 series being better than their predecessors. To be honest that seems like utter lies at this point. It's not normal to have 5 to 10% battery draining an hour,. I've had iPhones going back to the iPhone three and never had an issue like this though we all know that these batteries and iPhones wear out overtime and when they've been used for a while, they do perform poorly. A brand new battery on a brand new iPhone 15 series phone should be acting immaculately well. This is very sad and apple is dropped the ball big time on this. The only thing I can speculate is there about to release the iPhone 16 and they don't give a hoot about the iPhone 15 customers.

that's a great idea. Very disappointed in Apple. Seems like they generally ignore issues and just start getting ready to release the next generation iPhone. I'm guessing they're ready to release the iPhone 16 already so they don't give a hoot about us iPhone 15 users. Makes me sad as a loyal apple customer for so many years. I expect more from Apple to its loyal customers, and after buying a 1000+ dollar devices.

Same problem here. Just switched to a iPhone 15 pro from a s21+ and the iPhone battery is lasting less then the Samsung used to, even it being a 2 year old phone. Sooo frustrating, I’m having something around of 5 hours of screen on time with a full charge, how is this Pro?

Can soneone tell me what to do with that? I have bought 15 pro max and my gf 15 pro and bought phones battery drains like crazy . It should last at least 1 day but its not real even half day…

Same things has been happening to me and my iPhone 14 pro blow up after being dropped and I got something better through asurion verizon and i appreciate it and love using my iPhone 15 pro it's my perfect cup of tea

I just upgraded my phone from 13 pro max to 15 pro max and my battery dies sooooo fast it’s. Crazy I have never experienced nothing like this and I been team iPhone since 3g apple please fix this my 13 never even died this quick I charge it

thanks for the update on what you were able to do. The only thing I haven't tried is turning off battery optimization for one day so I just did that and I hope maybe that will help. Thanks. I'm assuming you've turned optimization back on after one day? which optimization setting did you use after you turned it back on?

I’m so wary now. I never thought I’d be nervous to get another iPhone. I’ve been a silly fan boy since the iPhone 3 or so. I have a MacBook. lol. Friends tried to convince me to go to the dark side, but I’m hoping this 13 will be okay. You want to hear the most pathetic part of this? I almost added a new line just so I could use an old model. My intent was to just put this one in the drawer for whenever it was paid off.

I want to add—and this post might not make the grade—but if your cell company does allow you to trade down? Don’t pick the 14 Pro. That’s what I have. I’m here because I’m having the same problems. All of them. When they offered me a 15, I had to laugh. When they told me to wait til I’m due for an upgrade, I told them I didn’t want to wait til the 13 was out of stock…. I actually started bawling after a concert. I wasn’t able to get a single photo from it. A video. I don’t know if the 15 has the camera issues the 14 has, but steer clear.

Hello Apple, the battery of My iPhone 15 pro is draining crazy, only charging up to 80% and the temperature is not normal even I not using it. I was purchased the unit in perth Western Australia. I hope you can fix this.

Same issue... Got my 15 pro just a few days ago. Starting from day 1 battery was draining faster than my previous iphone 13 pro. Really disappointing. Can't last for whole day with full charge under normal usage without playing any games.

Well it’s another day not much use today with 4 hours screen time and it’s a full day, 9am to 2am (17hours) and battery still over 60% so yeah was a drain to begin with but settled in and don’t see any issues here. I don’t see any issues running iOS 17.3 for a week now and no issues with battery.if you have issues I would say it’s not the phone but the way you have it setup.

I just bought my iPhone 15 Pro last week, and the battery life STINKS! My 2 year old iPhone 13 Pro battery lasted twice as long. Now, I’m always worrying about whether I have a charger or battery pack on me. Also hope it’s only a software issue. Apple, PLEASE fix this. Using Maps app for a 30 min trip downtown for jury duty took it from 100% (right off charger) to 63%…😔

Same problem with iphone 15 pro max and iphone 15 pro (my girlfriend). For phones in this price range i expect more then half day of battery. When i scoll instagram i can see how the battery drains like crazy. I hope apple dev. team do some update for 15 pro and pro max series... Soooo bad promo Apple, you should fix is as soon as possible.
