my phone fell into the bath. It was submerged for approximatley 40 seconds. Now it flashes the apple symble and then goes off and repeats. What can i do to fix this. it is currently connected to my computer

Unfortunately, the phone is very likely going to be a total loss.
Make an appointment at the Apple Store or take the phone to an authorized Apple Services shop to let them examine the phone and go over your options with you.
