A2179 MacBook Air boots to Apple logo(not loading screen) and then turns off to show a black screen consecutively turning on and off.
I have a 2020 MacBook Air, when trying to boot, it shows the apple logo, no loading bar, no boot noise. The screen turns off and then shows a black screen that consecutively turns off and on. It will keep doing that for like 10 minutes, maybe more I'm not sure as I either close the laptop or try fixing it. After trying to shut the laptop down, holding down Touch ID for 5 seconds+, it will still sometimes show the black screen randomly. I eventually manage to turn it off. I try the various posted solutions to fixing this problem (MacBook won't boot past Apple logo), but any of the attempts to get into the state that require combination key presses don't work. Not Disk Utility, not Safe Mode, not resetting NVRAM. The only different response that I can get from the MacBook is the boot noise to play after trying to reset NVRAM. I even changed the battery after taking it to a repair shop that told me the battery was bad. That didn't change anything with how the laptop behaved.
Please help!
