My wi fi won't work on my 2014 MacBook Pro after update 11.7.10

My wi fi won't work and the wireless diagnostics doesn't work either after the update 11.7.10, I can't turn the wi fi on in network preferences I also had an issue with Logic Pro not booting after the update but that has since rectified itself, I have connected a usb network so have net access, but I still can't connect to Apple online diagnostics, I know some one will deduct its the wireless network module but it happened straight after the update, I have four MacBook Pros and always keep them updated and haven't had an update screw me up like this.

appreciate the help

Troubleshooting Mac WiFi After an Update:

A Corrupt macOS:

If the preferences is not going working, then the macOS may have become manipulated, technically. So, to fix that...

Reinstall the macOS:

Nothing would be deleted. It's just that items that have become corrupted or deleted, would be replaced or reinstalled, respectively. Go Here: How to Reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery - Apple Support

Important:

Create a Time Machine Backup, First:

Prior to the re-installation of your macOS, be certain to backup your Mac using a Time Machine Backup. That way, you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong with the reinstall. Use an external hard drive that is at least 1.5 the total storage capacity.

Thanks for that advice but tried the reinstall and still no wifi, so it could be that the wifi module failed at the exact time of the update, that's funny because my 2019 MacBook Pro did the same thing when I updated that and the mac store replaced the whole mother board through warranty, makes you think if Apple does this on purpose.

Cheers
