For most countries, including the US, you can buy AppleCare+ if you get it within 60 days (4 days left!) of your device purchase. You can buy it online, wherever you are, if you have your American payment method at hand.

Buy an AppleCare plan - Apple Support. This page guides you through the buying process, using one of the friendly blue buttons.

You do know that Apple doesn’t have official support in Botswana itself, right? You will have to travel (back) to get to Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider. Service and support by country - Apple Support.
