I created an event today to be repeated daily. Made it as an ALL DAY event. Repeat daily. With End date in a couple of months. It created the event on the 1st day, and on the 2nd day the event appears twice. On the 3rd day the event appears 3 times. And so on until later in the month there is like 15 repeats of this one same event.

Create the all-day event with the same start and end date, and set the last occurrence (in a couple of months) with the end of recurrence date.
Otherwise what happens is that Calendar creates a single long event from start day to end day, then another one from start day +1 to end day +1, and so on.

tried it 3 different times, it kept doing it. Just the oddest thing, I don't think you could intentionally make something like that happen. day 1 one time, day 2 two times, day 3 three times, etc. What would even be the point of that anyway.
What happens if you delete the event and try again?
