T Mobile text messaging stopped working over the weekend

Phone service is T Mobile. Over the weekend I stopped being able to send or respond to text messages. No problem receiving them.

Why is my iPhone 13 Pro Max not sending RCS messages anymore? I have AT&T service, and ever since the iOS 18 update, RCS has been working fine when I text Android users on other networks. However, on 12/6/24, that stopped. Android users can send me RCS messages but if I reply or send a new message to them, they’re all SMS. I have done a hard reset and it still doesn’t work. I also checked to make sure RCS is turned on.

Have you tried Resetting Network Settings?

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

SMS is a carrier feature. Your first step should be to contact TMobile.
