My iPhone widgets do not show up when adding it on my Mac desktop

My iPhone widgets do not show up when adding it on my Mac desktop and I've done everything that the internet says I should. I updated to macOS Sonoma because I want the widgets feature - now I cannot even take advantage of the update! I've done everything I can, from checking my Desktop Widgets Settings (toggling on my Use iPhone Widgets)and Location Services, removing and re-adding my working widgets (which are the default widgets already available on Mac), uninstalling and reinstalling iPhone apps (for the iPhone widgets *that I want* to show up on my Mac), and even restarting my MBA multiple times. Watched every YouTube video for a quick fix but nothing seemed to work. The widget I want to add the most to my Mac desktop is Spotify! Please, is there any other way to make it work?

Same problem here. Both devices are updated (iOS 17.1 and macOS 14.1), same wifi network, same Apple ID, No VPN, the iPhone and MacBook are sitting right next to each other. Yet the widget gallery does not pull up the iPhone widgets, just the standard Mac widgets.

Just updated to Sonoma 14.2 and iOS17.2 - still no iPhone widgets on my Mac.

Widgets are enabled, both Mac and iPhone are on the same wi-fi network and both devices are in close proximity to each other. Reboots and restarts, enabling and re-enabling widgets - makes no difference.

I was having the same issue but I realised that it was because the iPhone it was trying to pull the apps from was my old phone that I'd sold. I just didn't realise because I always rename my phone to be the same thing. Have a look in Settings App --> Desktop & Dock --> Widgets, then check that there isn't more than 1 phone in the dropdown list.

This is the answer, thank you! I'm using Todoist and the MacOS widget doesn't offer all the features of the iOS widget. When clicking Todoist in the list on the left, only MacOS widgets would appear. But when I scrolled all the way down in the main view, that's where all my IOS widgets were located!

Yep. Same here. Latest version of Sonoma on a 16" M2 MacBook Pro. Latest version of iOS on an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Same Wi-fi network. Use iPhone widgets setting toggled on in settings on the MacBook. All I see is the Mac widgets. Even tried plugged the phone in directly via USB cable and makes no difference. Rebooted both devices. Makes no difference.

I have the same issue, one minute they are there and the next they are gone.

I think this happens with multi device setups. They always seem to disappear when I turn on my iPad and my Mac is also on, it's as if the iPad is over riding the iPhone widgets, but the iPad Widgets of course are not available on Mac OS. Would be great if the is fixed in Sequoia.
