How to delete old AppleID
I updated my Apple ID but the old ID still shows in the "Media & Purchases" section. How can this be updated or changed?

Hello Dbunton,
To change the account you're using for Media & Purchases, just go to Settings > name at the top > Media & Purchases, then select the Sign Out option. After that, sign in with the Apple ID you want to start using for Media & Purchases.
You also mentioned deleting an Apple ID in your post title. If you want to completely delete an Apple ID account, you can use these steps:
Sign in with your Apple ID at privacy.apple.com on a Mac, PC, iPhone, or iPad, and select “Request to delete your account”.
When you request account deletion, you'll receive a unique alphanumeric access code. Make sure that you keep this access code in a safe place. For a short period of time while your request is being processed, you can contact Apple Support, provide your access code, and we’ll help you cancel your request so you can resume using your Apple ID.
