iPhone 15 Pro max haptic Sounds extremely loud

I just purchased the iPhone 15 pro max and upon set up had to update to 17.2. After the update all of my notifications (haptic sounds) are beyond loud. It’s annoying! I tried some of the suggestions of using the side buttons to control the haptics and that did not work. I have had to silence them since this is also my business phone. I am not resetting a brand new phone. When is this issue being addressed or what is the current resolution?

You can change the volume of notifications by following the steps in Adjust the volume on iPhone

Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringer and Alerts
