My storage on my iPhone shows 11 gb IOS and 11 gb system data.
My wife's 14 (mine is 14 plus) has the same 17 OS and her total of the two is 14 vs mine at 22, why? I dont have it here and dont remember which has what data but one of them is half of what mine shows.
Also does "offloading" and reinstalling apps helpful in reducing storage size?

The size of system data can vary depending on a number of factors. If storage space is not constrained on the device, you can continue using it normally. If more space is needed, iOS can free additional space automatically.
